How We Use Your Gift - Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative

how we use your gift

You can donate securely online now, mail us a check made payable to the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative, or by telephone 1-800-966-7920.

With your support we will engage in dozens of projects throughout the Yellowstone to Yukon region that protect core wildlife habitats, keep these habitats connected, and inspire others to engage in similar work.

Y2Y is committed to accountability and transparency. Find out how we put your gift to work:

Your donations have helped Y2Y connect and protect Yellowstone to Yukon region in diverse ways, including creating new parks and protected areas, working with multiple partners to build wildlife-friendly highways, helping people live peacefully with wildlife, and healing damaged habitats. For more information about our past and current work, please see Our Impact.

Our work is driven by our mission, and we only accept funding that supports advancing our vision. Conservation challenges in the Y2Y region transcend borders. As such, we accept funding from both countries (and occasional donations from outside North America) and spend this funding on both sides of the border.

We do not knowingly accept funding from any entity seeking specifically to undermine local or regional economies. Please read through our Gift Acceptance Policy for more details.
