Join Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative and the Western Transportation Institute for a discussion of new research examining opportunities to improve wildlife movement and reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions along Interstate 90 and other major highways in western Montana. This webinar will highlight key findings from WTI’s recently published study, explore practical solutions for enhancing roadway safety for both people and wildlife, and discuss how these findings can help inform future transportation and conservation efforts across the region.

About the speaker:

Marcel Huijser: Marcel is a senior research ecologist with the Western Transportation Institute. Specializing in road ecology since 1995, he has conducted research in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. His focus is on the ecological impacts of transportation infrastructure as well as mitigation measures aimed at reducing these impacts.
