Join Y2Y and Dena Kayeh Institute for a special screening of Dene K’éh Kusān: Always Will Be There in Victoria, B.C., on July 23.

As British Columbia weighs permanent protection for this extraordinary landscape, now is the moment to learn more and add your voice.

The evening begins with the short documentary Dene K’éh Kusān: Always Will Be There, an Indigenous-led journey into grizzly bear country where traditional knowledge meets modern science. The film shows how safeguarding this sacred land and its wildlife corridors sustains both cultural continuity and climate resilience for generations to come.

A panel discussion follows, featuring Y2Y’s landscape protection director Tim Burkhart and Michelle Miller of the Dena Kayeh Institute, with a Q&A on what’s next for this landscape.

Tickets are free — RSVP now to save your seat.
