Bear safety starts with you. When it comes to recreating in areas where grizzly bears, black bears and other wildlife live, it pays to be alert, be loud and be safe!
Our communications and digital engagement manager, Kelly, is a self-described reluctant runner and bear enthusiast. She shares a few of the practices she uses when trail running or recreating in the Yellowstone to Yukon region to avoid causing problems for bears and other wildlife.
