How: Protect. Connect. Inspire.

To achieve this grand Yellowstone to Yukon vision, Y2Y protects core habitats, keeps these habitats connected, and inspires others to engage in similar work. We highlight and focus on local issues that have implications for the region as a whole, and work with key people to stitch together this landscape.

At 2000 miles (3,200 km) long with a diversity of challenges and opportunities, this trans-boundary landscape demands a multi-pronged approach. As a result, we undertake a variety of projects within the following eight themes:
