Conservation Groups Launch Campaign to Protect Alberta's Castle Wilderness Area

Y2Y and other conservation groups team up to remind Alberta’s NDP government about its pledge to better protect the Castle wilderness area.

Y2Y, the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and the Alberta Wilderness Association are all reaching out to Albertans and asking them to remind their new government about its pledge to protect the Castle Special Place.

The email campaign was directed at Alberta Environment and Parks Minister Shannon Phillips.

“It was in the NDP platform to protect the Castle,” said Wendy Francis, interim president of Y2Y. “Here we are three or four months later.”
