Telephone Town Hall: Saving Wolverines & Grizzlies from Extinction

Jodi Hilty explores Y2Y's pioneering work in protecting large landscapes and corridors, and its positive impacts on wolverines and grizzly bears.

Wolverines and grizzly bears are iconic carnivores in the Yellowstone to Yukon region. But they are both threatened by habitat loss and fragmentation, and in need of a new wildlife-human relationship to ensure their long-term survival.

In Y2Y’s Spring Telephone Town Hall, held on April 13, Y2Y President and Chief Scientist Jodi Hilty explored how research on these top predators is helping Y2Y and other conservation groups protect and restore their core habitats, and the wildlife corridors that keep them connected.
