Your photo could help protect the Flathead River Valley.

Love British Columbia’s (B.C.'s) Flathead and wish to help save it?

Now, there is one more way to help spread the word about the vision for a National Park and Wildlife Management Area in the Flathead – through our photo contest! All you have to do is: Hold. Smile. Click. Like. And win!

Ruth and I, Y2Y’s Flathead outreach team, are out in full force, letting everyone know about the campaign to connect, protect and complete B.C.’s stunning Flathead River Valley.

Ruth (left) and Krystal (right) Y2Y's Flathead Associates will be at local farmers markets and in front of MEC and Patagonia in Calgary, Banff and Canmore.

Stop by a booth and let us snap your photo with the Flathead Wild sign. We’ll post the image to Flathead Wild’s Facebook page. You tag your image and invite your friends to like it. The photo with the most likes wins a prize. Every photo that is tagged or shared helps us bring online visibility to this crucial campaign.

And if you can’t make it in person, don’t worry! Our postcard campaign has now moved online! Sign the postcard and share it with all your friends to make an impact.

We’re setting up information booths at festivals, events and markets across Alberta, B.C., and Montana, working to protect the Flathead one conversation at a time.

So come visit us, help us out, and together we can work to protect one of the most ecologically important places on the planet.
