Lend your voice to the future of US National Parks
The National Park Service (NPS) needs to hear your thoughts on Director's Order #100, Resource Stewardship for the 21st Century.
The Order provides policies to frame stewardship decision making within the NPS, taking into account many urgent issues that played little or no roll in earlier policies, including climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, land use changes, and other pressures that have impacted our parks and the other resources NPS manages. The NPS needs to hear from you!
The draft is now available for comment, with a deadline of Friday, November 18. Click this link to visit the NPS page, review the Order, and provide comments.
We at Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y) urge you to provide comments on the draft Order #100. To see Y2Y's priorities for the Order, you can read the letter Y2Y's President and Chief Scientist, Jodi Hilty, sent to Director John Jarvis by clicking here.
Thank you for caring about the future of our National Parks!
