Dr. Bill Weber, co-author of In the Kingdom of Gorillas, pioneered mountain gorilla tourism in Rwanda when it looked like that species was doomed to extinction. Now mountain gorilla tourism is Rwanda's number one source of foreign exchange and the population has rebounded. When he returned to North America, he brought lessons from Africa on the importance of connectivity and local community involvement to bear on the conservation of iconic wild animals across the Y2Y region.

A social scientist and lecturer at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Dr. Weber is also co-chair of Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative. Grab your tickets as these events always sell out and join us for what is sure to be an enlightening evening.

Be sure to join us on Tuesday, September 26, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and available on Eventbrite.
