Great beer needs great water.

It’s time to take beer seriously. Join us for an event that honours and seeks to protect beer’s most important ingredient — water.

Drop in any time between 3 and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 to sample beer made from Alberta’s headwaters, learn more about the amazing region this water comes from in Alberta’s Bighorn Backcountry, and help protect the great water great beer needs.

Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative and Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society Northern Alberta Chapter are working to protect this special area and want Edmontonians to know how important a role the Bighorn plays in our everyday lives. This event is 18+.

Drink beer, win prizes and more

Sample beers made with Alberta headwaters courtesy Edmonton brewery partners Bent Stick Brewing and Alley Kat Brewing Company, enter a raffle prize drawing, learn more about the Bighorn and more. Bring your friends and colleagues to this dynamic event as you learn more about Edmonton's water.

Proceeds will go toward CPAWS Northern Alberta and Y2Y's Love Your Headwaters campaign to protect Alberta's water sources up and down the eastern slopes of the Rockies.

Join us!

The event is free to enter with a cash bar available, but blue carpet passes are available for $25. These tickets include a donation and a pint of Alberta beer. There are a limited number of these tickets available. RSVP to let us know you are coming, or drop by anytime between 3 and 6 p.m.
