The Salazar Center for North American Conservation’s is hosting its 5th Annual International Symposium on Conservation Impact, taking place in Denver, Colorado from Oct. 11-12, 2023.

The Salazar Center’s annual symposia convenes a community of conservation leaders and provides a forum where scientists, practitioners, policymakers, and funders can explore new partnerships and approaches to the conservation challenges we face in North America.

The event will feature keynote presentations, curated panel discussions, and interactive breakout sessions to facilitate honest dialogue around this year’s theme: Nature-positive solutions.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 11, 9:45am: panel discussion with keynote speakers, moderated by Dr. Jodi Hilty
  • Thursday, Oct. 12, 10:40am: Cooperation on conservation across North America: Priorities and outcomes from trilateral consensus with Gwen Bridge, CEO, Gwen Bridge Consulting; member of the Saddle Lake Cree Nation
  • Thursday, Oct. 12, 1:00pm: Scaling up ‘Nature-positive communities’ for impact: a workshop with the Yellowstone to Yukon Initiative (Y2Y) facilitated by Patti Richards and Pelah Hoyt
