Hannah Rasker - Y2Y intern

Originally from Bozeman, Montana, Hannah has a life-long passion for contributing to the success of conservation efforts. She is currently pursuing her MS degree in Environmental Conservation with the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.

This summer she is excited to be interning with Y2Y focusing on methods to measure conservation effectiveness. Her background includes many years experience in the environmental non-profit sector ranging from fundraising to operational roles. She has worked with citizen science groups, land-based conservation efforts, and large carnivore coexistence efforts around the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. She has also enjoyed field-work positions focusing on Greater sage-grouse in Wyoming, and carnivores in Zambia.

When she is not working away on her masters degree, she can be found taking a nap in a field of sage brush after a long mountain bike ride.
