Brittany McMaster, Alberta Headwaters Associate
Brittany McMaster recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
She grew up in traditional Treaty Six territory near Maskwacis, Alberta, and is half Cree and half Blackfoot. Three summers of working with the Stewardship branch of Alberta Environment and Parks have given her a breadth of experience with different environmental issues.
Most recently, she campaigned on both the Canadian federal election and the American presidential election as part of a unique team whose mandate was to encourage the Aboriginal and Native American populations to vote.
She is very excited to be on the Y2Y team as the Alberta Headwaters Associate, and can’t wait to start this new journey into the conservation sector.
