Partner Support

Y2Y believes in investing in the partners and organizations whose projects help realize the vision of protecting and connecting the habitat of the Yellowstone to Yukon region. Not only are partners and organizations supported through our Competitive Partner Grants Program, but also we fund emerging projects that support our conservation goals.

Competitive Partner Grants

Since 1998, Y2Y has invested more than $570,000 US ($690,000 CAN) in grassroots organizations through our annual Competitive Partner Grants Program. These on-the-ground projects complement the efforts of Y2Y, and mobilize work that we wouldn’t be able to do on our own. In 2013 alone, Y2Y funded 17 projects totaling over $60,000 US/CAN. Please review the full suite of 2013 Partner Grant recipients.

Request for proposals for our 2014 Competitive Partner Grants will be posted on this page next January. Please check back to submit your application.

Emerging Opportunities

We are fortunate that our funders and donors trust us to re-invest their support in the people and places that will help us make great conservation strides. Their support allows us to respond to emerging opportunities such as private land acquisitions or campaign breaks that make a real difference. In 2012 alone, Y2Y invested over half a million dollars of these funds into the conservation community, and saved critical habitat for grizzlies and the endangered leopard frog.

We are pleased to provide this financial foundation for the conservation community, because we know that it is only together that we will achieve success.
